New music releases of 2018

Rock on, Rangers, because January is a great month for music. With new albums, songs, shows, and more this month is sure to be a good one. Get ready for the first music of the year,and get excited for what’s yet to be announced.
Starting in January there are new albums with genres ranging from pop to metal. Camila Cabello’s new album “Camila” is out with more catchy pop songs such as her big hit “Havana”.
Also this month Texas Pop Punk band Waterparks releases their second lp “Entertainment”. Glam metal band Black Veil Brides are releasing “Vale”, a heavy album that rocks hard.
Meghan Patrick is releasing her new album “Country Music Made Me Do It” for fans of Miranda Lambert and Shania Twain.
Charlie Puth has a new album this year called “VoiceNotes” with earworm tracks like “Attention” that will be stuck in your head all day. Chicago-born band Fall Out Boy have ditched their emo routes to transform into their new alt-pop selves in new album “M A N I A”.
Not only are there new albums this coming year, but concerts as well. This January at the newly re-opening historic Rialto in Bozeman( get tickets at, Car Seat Headrest has a show on the 26th. They originate from Virginia and started to make music in 2010. They came to make themselves known in Seattle shortly after. Their genre is indie rock/ lo-fi pop and they are best known for their songs “Fill in the Blank” and “Something Soon”. Coming March 7th, indie pop band Lucius will be at the Rialto. They are a four piece band from Brooklyn with their most popular songs being “Born Again Teen” and “Dusty Trails”. Also coming in concerts this year is Old Dominion who are from Nashville and are classified as country rock. Old Dominion will be at the Adams Event Center in Missoula on February 22. 2017 was a big year for music with the song of the summer being “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Justin Bieber. Other notable songs of 2017 were “HUMBLE.” By Kendrick Lamar, “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran, “New Rules” by Dua Lipa, “Feel It Still” by Portugal. The Man, “Young Dumb & Broke” by Khalid, “Bad at Love by Halsey”, and “XO TOUR Llif3” by Lil Uzi Vert.
